General conditions

To get an account, you must justify of a use of Grid'5000 for its intended purposes.

The following extract of the Grid'5000 usage policy details these purposes:

Grid'5000 is a scientific instrument supporting experiment-driven research in all areas of computer science, with a focus on distributed computing, high performance computing, big data and networking. Its use should lead to results or contribute to education in this area.

Policy for academics in France or from the sites of the universities of Luxembourg and Louvain

For academics (including students) in France or from the sites of the universities of Luxembourg(LU) and Louvain(BE) whose work fits in the Grid'5000 intended purposes and complies with the usage policy, accounts can be requested after having read and accepted Grid'5000's usage policy, using:

the FORM for academics in France or from the sites of Luxembourg or Louvain

Please select in the form a Group Granting Access that is either associated with your research team or lab or the closest Grid'5000 site. Else the misc Group.

Policy for academics outside of France and/or non-academics

Access through the Open Access program

The Grid'5000 Open Access program is closed.

Access through collaborations with French academics

Grid'5000 is funded by institutions such as Inria, CNRS, and many French universities. Access to Grid'5000 is available to members of contributing institutions and can be extended to their active collaborators and to selected outstanding research projects.

If you have an active formal collaboration with academic researchers having access to Grid'5000, you may get an account thanks to it. Please ask your collaborators or a Grid'5000 representative for details to fill in the registration form above with relevant information.

Access for a conference peer review

Access to Grid'5000 can be granted for peer-reviewing scientific works submitted for publication in scientific conferences.

To request an account for a peer-review, please fill in the form that follows, with a reference to the Reproducibility Initiative Chair of the target conference who will endorse your request (in the Intended usage input box):

Private companies interested in providing or using resources may contact one of the Grid'5000 executive board members.
