Getting an account on Grid'5000 is easy. However, users must follow the usage rules imposed by the Steering Committee.

Only potential users who agree with the following charter will get an account on Grid'5000:

  1. BEFORE any Grid'5000 resource utilization, the user must fill its user report, describing the context and the experiments he will conduct on Grid'5000
  2. The user must use Grid'5000 in the perspective of large scale experiment (at least 3 sites and 1000 CPUs). Usage of a single cluster is strongly discouraged and may lead to account cancelation.
  3. The user should NOT use Grid'5000 as a production platform. Any usage of Grid'5000 should make progress in Computer Science. You may generate usefull results for other communities, as long as the community of computer science researchers learn something from your experiments.
  4. The User must mention Grid'5000 in all publications presenting results or content obtained or derived from the usage of Grid'5000.
