Practical sessions

Practical sessions are organised to allow for different profiles:

  • New Grid'5000 users should attend:
  • Users interested in experiment methodology and tools should attend:
  • Users wanting to use Grid'5000 to run VMs and Cloud stacks can attend:
    • Reserve IPs and boot virtual machines without Kadeploy3
    • Deploy OpenStack over Grid'5000 in your own VLAN and use it through its web interface
    • IaaS using g5k-campaign
  • Users wanting to discover the newer stuff can attend:
    • Storage handling and use on Grid'5000: Storage5K and Dfs5k
    • Reserve IPs and boot virtual machines without Kadeploy3
    • either Grid'5000 API (with an focus on energy probes) or the Grid'5000 lab with CiGri usage for campaign management.
