- Charactering Volunteer Computing Applications (Middleware) [planned]
Description: Volunteer computing is a form of distributed computing in which the general public volunteers processing and storage resources to computing projects. BOINC is a middleware system for volunteer computing, and serves as the infrastructure for projects such as SETI@home, ROSETTA@home, and EINSTEIN@home. We would like to use Grid'5000 to execute BOINC applications in order to characterize them.
