KadeployFS (Networking)

Conducted by

Fabien Gaud, Adrien Lèbre, Przemyslaw Sowa

Description

KadeployFS is under heavily development. The purpose consists in providing a tool to deploy parallel File system for grid experiments. At the moment, supported distributed file sytems are NFS, PVFS 2, LUSTRE and NFSp. But PVFS, all These filesystems could be use with or without aIOli improvements. KadeployFS is composed of scripts used to deploy and configure a distributed file system environnement on all the selected nodes. Even if the main purpose of KadeployFS consists in making tests on distributed filesytems, it could also be used as a temporary storage point for specific grid experiments. KadeployFS is currently not available with the lastest kadeploy version (refactoring is required). Volunters are welcome !
