Nota Bene:

  • To register your IP address into our firewall, you'll need to send an email to staff@orsay.grid5000.fr; this step is in general completed during the account opening procedures for users depending on Orsay (practically: GdX users).
  • For users from other sites, you probably already have another external access to Grid'5000 and may hence reach GdX internally; but you still may request a GdX external access.

In any case, please:

  • declare if possible a "mutual" IP address (that of a workstation in your lab which may be used also by fellow users);
  • declare the less possible IP addresses (one IP by user... or less in case of mutual address!);
  • if you wish to declare a whole IP subnet, then the email MUST COME FROM your local network representative and MUST BE APPROVED BY your local CP.
